Nemours Children's Health

Nemours Children's Health is a large not-for-profit pediatric health system providing integrated medical care, research, and education across more than 70 locations in six states.

Nemours Children's Health is a not-for-profit organization and one of the largest integrated pediatric health systems in the United States. Founded in 1936, the system operates more than 70 locations across six states, including two freestanding children's hospitals. It cares for over 544,000 children annually and maintains an active research portfolio of more than 300 projects.

The organization's mission extends beyond traditional hospital care. It considers children's health broadly, encompassing education, food, housing, family stability, and emotional well-being. Teams regularly go outside hospital walls to reach children where they live, learn, and play. This approach is supported by an annual community health contribution exceeding $220 million.

Nemours also operates KidsHealth.org, an educational resource for children's health that reaches more than 137 million people each year. The system's work spans pediatric healthcare, medical research, and health education, driven by the belief that every child deserves their best chance to grow up healthy.
