Pace Center for Girls is a nonprofit organization founded in 1985 that provides academic and counseling programs for middle and high-school aged girls. Operating across 21 communities in Florida and Georgia, the organization serves more than 3,000 girls each year and has reached over 40,000 since its inception. All services are provided at no cost to girls and their families.
The organization runs two core programs. The Day Program offers year-round academics, counseling, and life skills training with small class sizes, aligned with Florida Department of Education requirements. The Reach Program provides flexible, community-based mental health support, meeting girls in their local schools, communities, or homes.
Pace Center for Girls operates on a gender-responsive, strength-based, and trauma-informed framework. Its guiding principle holds that every girl deserves a safe and supportive space to become a strong, compassionate, and successful woman. The organization focuses on the unique needs of girls to achieve academic success, emotional well-being, and career and college readiness.
