Mattamy Homes is the largest family-owned homebuilder in North America. Founded in 1978 in Toronto, Ontario, the company builds residential homes and has expanded into high-rise development. It serves more than 8,000 families annually across operations in the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, and the Waterloo Region in Canada, as well as 11 markets in the United States including Charlotte, Dallas, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and Phoenix.

The company's work includes residential home building and high-rise developments, the latter entered through the acquisition of a high-rise development firm. Its technical focus areas include home design innovation and geothermal energy technology. Notable products and concepts introduced by the firm include the WideLot design, a home concept from the 1990s that creates wider street profiles, and the GeoExchange community, a neighbourhood heated and cooled by geothermal energy.
