Goodwill Industries of North Florida

Goodwill Industries of North Florida operates as a nonprofit social enterprise across a fourteen-county region in North Florida, including Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau, Putnam, Flagler, Baker, Union, Bradford, Alachua, Columbia, Hamilton, Gilchrist, and Suwannee counties. The organisation's core mission is to remove barriers to employment through training, education, and career opportunities for the communities it serves, a foundation built on the belief that everybody deserves access to opportunity for more than 80 years.

The organisation runs a network of thrift stores and donation centres, supported by more than half a million donors. This social enterprise model channels ninety cents of every dollar earned directly into funding its employment mission. Revenue generated through retail operations funds a range of workforce development programmes.

These programmes include GoodCareers Centers and GoodwillTemps, which provide job training and placement services, as well as the A-STEP programme for working adults seeking higher education. The organisation also partners with the Mayor's Youth at Work Partnership to support youth employment initiatives.
