Founded in 1984, the organisation operates from nearly 100 locations across Florida, employing over 250 physicians alongside 220 nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Its core focus spans medical oncology, hematology, and clinical research.
FCS provides cancer care services designed to be accessible close to home for patients throughout the state. The practice also runs a clinical trials programme that offers access to more trials than any private oncology practice in Florida, often leading the nation in initiating research studies. The majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. in the past five years were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval.
